Please bear with us as we begin this blog for our mom. We're busily gathering all the information that we have to keep close friends and family updated during this time.

The Basics:
On the morning of Thursday, May 12th, Julie Bean went to the ER with major abdominal pain. By noon she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She was immediately admitted to LDS Hospital. After a lot of testing, she began intense chemotherapy on Saturday morning. She will remain admitted for at least 6 weeks. A bone marrow transplant will follow shortly thereafter.

If you'd like to help:
• Please come to our hat party! We'd love to fill her room up with cute hats and scarves. See the post below for more info.
• Her birthday is on Monday, May 29th!!! Write her an email of encouragement and prayer on Facebook! Please don't expect an immediate reply, as she is very sick at this time. If you need her personal email address, please reply to this post and we will send it to you.

Please Note: 
• Visitors are strictly restricted.
• Flowers and plants and latex balloons are not allowed in her room at this time.
• Cards and emails are very appreciated.
• Phone calls to Paul and Julie have been very overwhelming. If you need to get in touch with them, please contact their daughter, Jessica Bean.
